Well, yeah, there. Managed to get color done today. Maybe not completed absolute doney done, as in, I -might- tweak it around a bit before the 16th, but until then, at least I've got it up. Not the best I could do, truthfully, but schoolwork is making me panic more than I should. x.x
*lazily copypastes the description off the lineart.
The lineart for
's contest. Character interaction and whatnot. I figured, hey! He has a cool dude with a chainsaw sword (Evan) that's WAAAaaayyy better designed than mine (Ewilyn...better known as "Chainsaw" uninspiredly), so why not draw his versus mine! Action was an optional criteria that I decided to attempt to fulfill, because I've never drawn a serious, dynamic action shot of ANYTHING....EVER. Perspective? Sure. Action? Sure. Action PLUS perspective? ...Uhhh... Uhm... ...No. So. Now I can say "Sure" to that, too.
: Don't feel sorry for Evan. Chainsaw isn't there to play nice... however, she isn't there to play smart, either (since she isn't meant for it outside of her native setting, in her native setting she's actually kinda wily/strategic, but that's because everything in her native setting is a bit... overpowered to begin with). Maybe not AS dumb as...say... Gauntlet. But kinda close. So Evan is very quite safe. He's probably a bajillion times more mobile than she is, anyway.
: Oh, and so people who haven't seen her before (don't blame ya, I only drew her once, and badly) the fiery markings in Chainsaw's hair isn't bad backlighting. Her hair's actually just colored like that.
